Terra tunes director organizes, performs at audio summit

ELMORE — As a kid increasing up in Bellevue, Michael Czeczele identified himself attracted to the sound of drums.

He was also youthful to try to remember, but Czeczele said he was told his father would choose him on situation to a close by bar, exactly where the toddler would sit on stage most of the evening subsequent to a drum package.

“I applied to make drum sets as a kid out of pot and pans. I could not wait to acquire classes,” Czeczele, Terra State’s director of musical arts and systems, stated.

Czeczele, drummer in Stranger than Fiction, co-started the Midwest Rhythm Summit with bandmate Tom Bowlus, editor of Bass Equipment Magazine.

The summit returns to Terra Condition Neighborhood College or university Friday and Saturday immediately after a two-calendar year absence.

Stranger than Fiction will engage in Saturday at the college’s Scholar Routines Heart with Dig Infinity and Crystal Bowersox.

For Czeczele, the summit is an extension of his lifelong immersion in new music.

He maintains a busy routine, no matter if it can be instructing at Terra Point out, executing on weekends or creating drum kits at his rented Elmore shop.

Czeczele started enjoying skillfully as a seventh grader.

He shows no symptoms of permitting up soon.

Czeczele’s early profession, foray into endorsements of drum products

Czeczele performed professionally through high university and college, carrying out at weddings and other situations.

He enrolled at Bowling Green Point out College and understood he preferred to be a performer, with a target of becoming a studio musician.

His teacher needed him to be a instructor.

At some point, Czeczele took a a bit different path and completed a double important in biology and chemistry.
