Prepare to dust off your bell sleeves.

Stevie Nicks, vocalist for Fleetwood Mac, will perform the Saturday evening of Bridgeport’s new Sound On Sound music festival in September, confirmed Jordan Wolowitz, co-founder of Founders Entertainment.

The Bridgeport festival date joins Nicks’ other festival appearances this year including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Bonnaroo.

The two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has been a staple in the music community for over 50 years, serving as a vocalist on some of Fleetwood Mac’s most iconic songs as well as building a successful solo career. Most recently, Nicks put out her live album and concert movie “24 Karat Gold Tour,” which chronicles her on tour from 2016 to 2017.

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds were previously announced as the Sunday headliners for the two-day Seaside Park festival that will run on Sept. 24 and 25. In addition, a concert will be held on Sept. 23 at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater ahead of the festival weekend.

Sound On Sound will be the first major music festival in Seaside Park since the departure of Gathering of the Vibes in 2015. The new festival is expected to draw upwards of 35,000 fans per day, according to festival organizers.

A list of other performers has not been revealed yet but fans can sign up for the festival’s e-mail list to get future information on pre-sales and the lineup.
