Harvest Songs Competition cancels programming as Lee blows as a result of province

The Harvest Songs Festival has cancelled all programming just after put up-tropical storm Lee swept as a result of the province on Saturday.

Ryan Sullivan, chair of the Harvest board, claimed the determination to cancel was challenging but offered the forecast and the province’s advice that folks continue to be household, the demonstrates had been cancelled for the basic safety of attendees, volunteers and the artists.

A notice on social media thanked attendees for their assist and finished by stating, “We’ll see you following September.”

Canadian expertise will be front and centre on Harvest phases, including producer, songwriter and hitmaker Daniel Lanois, indie rock collective Broken Social Scene, hometown heroes Matt Andersen & the Significant Bottle of Pleasure, platinum marketing, blues-rock reggae band Massive Sugar, Juno-award profitable blues powerhouse Crystal Shawanda, and emerging multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Aysanabee.
