Castlegar and Trail area pupils recognized for tunes excellence

The Path/Castlegar Department of the B.C. Registered Audio Teachers’ Affiliation celebrated Canada Tunes 7 days with a recital on Nov. 28 featuring audio composed and arranged by Canadian composers. The contributors ranged in age from small children to grown ups, and showcased pianists, vocalists, and violinists.

The evening concluded with awards from the regional department to pupils who acquired the leading evaluation marks from in the previous 12 months. Also, a few pupils have been acknowledged for obtaining medals of excellence from Conservatory Canada.

The award winners are as follows:

The Helen Dahlstrom Functional Awards (discipline is piano except if pointed out otherwise) — Conservatory Canada: Amount 1 Modern day – Esmae Verigin Degree 2 Modern day – Madeline Ellis Amount 3 Modern day – Nova Ellis Stage 4 Modern day – Alexia Popoff Amount 5 Up to date – Somayeh Nicholls Degree 7 Up to date – Olivia Ovington Royal Conservatory: Amount 5 Voice – Julie Higgins Stage 7 Piano – Iris Hussey.

The Dora Tweeddale Principle Awards – Conservatory Canada: Idea 1 – Erica Sandland Principle 2 – Raine Medland Royal Conservatory: Degree 5 – Julie Higgins.

The subsequent pupils were being acknowledged for receiving Conservatory Canada Medals of Excellence for the best marks in B.C. for their practical piano tests: Esmae Verigin for Contemporary Idioms Stage 1, Madeline Ellis for Modern day Idioms Stage 2, and Nova Ellis for Modern day Idioms Degree 3.
